Motherwell and Wishaw MSP Clare Adamson highlighted Gas Safety Week 2023, which runs until September 17.
MSP Clare Adamson is urging Motherwell and Wishaw constituents to ensure all gas appliances are checked and maintained by a Gas Safe Registered engineer.Gas Safety Week is an annual national campaign, coordinated by Gas Safe Register, which brings consumer organisations, the gas industry and individuals together to provide a focus on gas safety.
Ms Adamson, MSP for Motherwell and Wishaw, said: “Unsafe gas appliances carry serious risks of carbon monoxide poisoning, fires or explosions. “It is crucial that you arrange for an annual gas safety inspection by a Gas Safe registered engineer and that you check your engineer’s Gas Safe ID card.
