A gymnast from Mount Pearl will be the flagbearer at the 2023 Canada Winter Games for Team NL.
Gleb Estigneev was named as the one who will lead the athletes during opening and closing ceremonies in PEI next month. The emcee for last night’s rally at the Sport NL facility on Crosbie Road was Jamie Korab, an Olympic gold medalist in curling. In addition to naming the flagbearer, we also got our first look at the clothing to be worn by Team NL.
The maroon jackets are available in two styles—an indoor quarter-zip jacket and a sweater as well as indoor jogger pants.
