MOUNT PEARL, N.L. — Mount Pearl is proceeding with building a new community centre at the Team Gushue Sports Complex, on the site of the former Smallwood Arena.
The splash pad will also be used as an outdoor skating rink during the winter. It will have a seating capacity of 500 and standing room for approximately 1.000. He said Park Place has served the community well but it’s obsolete in terms of serving the community's needs.
