A motorcycle rider was killed in a collision with a car in Gloucester County on Thursday night, according to police.
Johnathen P. Oliver, 36, of Williamstown, was riding a motorcycle east on Lake Avenue near Florence Boulevard in Monroe Township shortly after 10 p.m. when he tried to brake for a car backing out a driveway on the 300 block of Lake Avenue, township police said. After a roughly 80-foot skid, the motorcycle fell on its side before hitting the front driver’s side of the car, police said.The car driver, a 27-year-old Williamstown woman, suffered minor injuries.Our journalism needs your support.
