Since 1902, the Morehouse College Maroon Tigers and the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers have faced off in the longest-run NCAA Division II classic in the nation. It started as an entertainment event for the African-American civilian community and U.S. Army soldiers in Columbus, Georgia, and Phenix City, Alabama, metro area.
The weekend’s activities will include mix of social events that lead up to the big game on Saturday at Legion Field.Tickets for the 87th annual Morehouse-Tuskegee Classic game are now on sale and can be purchased for $20 each at Legion Field has a strict gameday bag policy. All clear bags are approved to enter the stadium. If this policy is broken, the person will be removed from the premises without a refund. Any bag that is not clear or larger than 1″ x 4.5″ x 8.5″ is prohibited. All items that are discovered during security inspections that don’t adhere to the bag policy must either be returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded. If medical bags are needed, they must be approved with an inspection at GATES 7A-7B.
