Northern Arizona is expected to have wind chills after seeing some sunlight earlier in the week along with breezy winds in southern parts of the state. The Valley will continue to experience below-average weather with wind gusts picking up.The National Weather Service said that colder temperatures will continue to prevail into the weekend for the Valley.
On Thursday morning the temperature was a low of 36 degrees and a high of 63 degrees in the daytime. This is 10 to 11 degrees below average compared to the normal morning readings in the Phoenix area, said Leffel.
