AGOURA HILLS — With a share of the Canyon League title on the line, the Moorpark football team entered the field at Agoura Friday night with one thing on its mind: Win.
Down 7-0 early after Agoura defensive back Tyler Starling returned an interception for a touchdown, the Musketeers never wavered, responding with the next three touchdowns. “This is the best game of my life by far and doing it in this game is huge,” Cochran said. “I’m proud of the whole team. It’s always a team effort.”Despite throwing two interceptions, Hensley rallied to throw two touchdown passes and also ran for a 12-yard score late in the game.
Novak also ran for a touchdown late to keep his team in the game, but Moorpark didn’t relent, maintaining its lead.
