Sergei Klenovski faces eight charges in connection with the alleged sexual exploitation of a 20-year-old woman

Police say a 24-year-old man arrested in Montreal for the alleged sexual exploitation of a 20-year-old woman may have been operating in B.C.

Sergei Klenovski appeared in a Montreal courtroom on Tuesday, one day following his arrest, where he was charged with eight offences including human trafficking, procuring, sexual assault, uttering threats and use of a weapon. Investigators with the Montreal Police have reason to believe there are additional victims in British Columbia. — Vancouver Police January 30, 2020Montreal police investigators say they have reasons to believe that there might be more victims in Quebec and B.C. “Anyone who may have been a victim or knows a potential victim of Sergei Klenovski is asked to visit their local police station or call 911 to file an official complaint or make a statement,” Montreal said in a news release.A spokesperson for the Vancouver police said Klenovski was unknown to authorities in Vancouver.
