Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced that the club has agreed to terms on a two-year, entry-level contract with 2020 second-round draft pick Luke Tuch , starting in 2024-25.
The Syracuse, New York product was originally selected No. 47 overall in the 2020 NHL Draft and during his draft year spent the season with the U.S. National U18 Team as part of the National Team Development Program. He scored 15 goals and 30 points in 47 games. The 22-year-old is the younger brother of Buffalo Sabres forward Alex Tuch and also grew up playing in the Buffalo Jr. Sabres program as a teenager.
