Guhle was drafted 16th overall in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Through five seasons in the Western Hockey League between the Prince Albert Raiders and the Edmonton Oil Kings, he scored 22 goals and 78 assists for 100 points in 181 games. After being traded to the Oil Kings in December 2021, he helped lead the team to a WHL Chynoweth Cup, the second of his career. He was named the WHL Playoff Most Valuable Player after the series.
