Aaron Rodgers makes his New York Jets debut as he duels Josh Allen and the reigning AFC East champion Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
The 39-year-old pivot had a storied career in Green Bay, leading the team to eight NFC North titles and a Super Bowl victory in 2010 where he was named MVP.
The 6-foot-2 quarterback replaces Zach Wilson as the Jets starter, who threw for 1,688 yards with six touchdowns and seven interceptions in nine games last season. Allen led the team to its third consecutive AFC East title after throwing for 4,283 yards with 35 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 17 games last season. He also finished third in MVP voting.
