NORPRO Security Ltd. is seeking motivated and independent individuals to join our team as Mobile Patrol Security Guard s. We provide a comprehensive range of security services throughout Northern Ontario , catering to a diverse clientele from single-assignment guards to comprehensive service packages encompassing all our offerings. \As a Mobile Patrol Security Guard, your responsibilities will include patrolling designated properties, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting property, equipment, and access points, and permitting or denying entry. You'll actively monitor for intrusion, damage, hazards, and security breaches, ensuring a high level of visibility to deter illegal and inappropriate activities. Your role entails identifying and reporting incidents at assigned client sites, safeguarding clients' properties, and adhering to all company service and operating standards. \You will be required to submit detailed security reports, accurately record and submit incident/accident reports to the Operations Manager as they occur. To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of one year of experience in a security guard role, possess above-average English oral and written communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. \The ideal candidate will be adaptable, able to adjust to changing assignments and priorities, possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, be trustworthy, and demonstrate the ability to manage others effectively. Strong communication skills, including clear and concise written, oral, and listening skills, are essential. You must also demonstrate sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities, effectively break down complex issues, and negotiate effectively to reach mutually beneficial agreements. \This position involves potential exposure to varying weather conditions, ranging from 30 degrees to below 20 degrees, and diverse climates. You may be required to wear safety clothing and equipment at times. The role necessitates regular driving, sitting, walking, bending for extended periods, reaching with hands and arms, and frequent talking and listening.
