Tigers 0 Guardians 7: Ok this wasn’t a great game. It was over after the first inning. Using the ‘opener’ didn’t work out for the Tigers . And Tanner Bibee was very good, though he came out after 4.1 innings. But four Cleveland relievers kept the Tigers hitless the rest of the way.
Mets 6 Phillies 2: I’m starting to believe in the Mets. They used five pitchers to hold the Phillies to two runs and the Mets got five runs in the eighth. Royals 5 Yankees 6: A back-and-forth game which the Damn Yankees won. Luke Weaver as closer in interesting. Aaron Judge had a rough game, 0 for 4, 3 k, 1 walk, but it didn’t matter.
Padres 5 Dodgers 7. The scoring was done by the fifth inning. Ohtani had a three-run homer in the second and Teoscar Hernandez drove in two in the fourth. The two teams used twelve pitchers. Playoff baseball has changed in my lifetime .Mets @ Phillies, 4:00 Eastern. Luis Severino vs. Cristopher Sanchez .
