New Westminster police seek help locating missing man
Deloes, 42, was last seen leaving Royal Columbian Hospital at 7:30 a.m. on May 24. He was spotted various times later that day near Holmes Street and Garfield Street and then again in the parking lot of Cariboo Road Christian Fellowship Church.
A search by police, Coquitlam Search and Rescue and his family members continued since his disappearance. On Wednesday, a member of the public found items belonging to Deloes abandoned in a green space behind the Salvation Army Cariboo Hill Temple, including slippers, socks, a hospital gown, an iPod and mouthwash.
NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C.: MAY 24, 2020 – New Westminster police are searching for Gavin Deloes, who went missing on May 24, 2020 around 7:30 a.m. after leaving Royal Columbian Hospital. His belongings were found on May 27 around 8:30 p.m. Police are now releasing these surveillance images of Deloes in hopes the public can help locate the 42-year-old man.Police searched the area late into the evening before it was unsafe to continue.
Deloes is 5-foot-11 and has a slim build, short black hair and he may be wearing only black boxer shorts.
