Padres superstar Fernando Tatis Jr. begins rehab assignment in Triple-A El Paso's victory
Tatis is expected to play six or seven innings again on Wednesday and have a day off on Thursday before continuing the road series. Tuesday’s game was the first that Tatis had played since beginning a rehab assignment last summer as he looked to return from his fractured wrist. The 80-game PED suspension that was subsequently announced ended his season before it started and shortened his 2023 campaign.went 3-for-5 with his first homer, a double, a walk and five RBIs.went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored.
