Predictions and picks for the 2022 NFL Week 2 matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles.
While I’m very high on the Eagles this season, the Vikings proved they can explode on offense. I’d love for this line to be a little more than a field goal, but I think Minnesota is an upset candidate here, especially since the Eagles gave up 6.5 yards per carry against the Lions.New Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell’s offense was rolling in Week 1. Justin Jefferson caught two touchdowns with 184 yards receiving.
Kirk Cousins spread it around when he wasn’t looking Jefferson’s way, and Dalvin Cook had 90 yards rushing against the Packers. Expect more of the same on the road against Philly. While the Eagles offense also rolled in the opener behind Jalen Hurts, new receiver A.J. Brown and a stout run game, Philly will be unable to match Minnesota’s firepower in this one.An early meeting of unbeatens on Monday Night Football leaves the winner in pole position of its respective division.
