Admit it: celebrity street style has been a little tame of late. New York Fashion Week draws big stars, but the pressure of having a million photographers and fashion fanatics watching means many tend to play it safe. Thankfully,doesn’t do safe. After delighting in a ’70s style jumpsuit at Tom Ford’s Los Angeles extravaganza, the pop star arrived to Manhattan to take in Marc Jacobs’s latest collection.
In a pair of skintight crimson lace-up pants from Dior, a Chanel mini bag, and a simple tank top Cyrus was edgy and effortless., the glossy red trousers are every bit as impressive 17 years later. Few can rival Cyrus when it comes to designer vintage. In the past few weeks, she’s pulled out everything from a Tom Ford for Gucci mini dress onstage at the 50th anniversary of The Doors’ “Morrison Hotel,” to an old school horse-bit hobo during last night’s dinner with Jacobs.
