After months of dancing around rules for their controversial boxing match this summer, on Monday it was announced that the bout has been officially sanctioned and will go down as a professional matchup.
He also shared a poster promoting the fight saying “Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Sanctioned as pro fight — who wins?” The caption read “Yes it’s a real sanctioned fight with Jake Paul.” Tyson, who will be 58 years old when the fight goes down on July 20, has not fought professionally in nearly 20 years, when he was beaten by Kevin McBride.The former undisputed world heavyweight champion has an official record of 50-6 with 44 knockouts while Paul’s record stands at 9-1.
Both fighters have shared aspects of their training in the lead up to the big event. Recently Tyson told Forbes that he has imposed a strict three-month sex and cannabis ban on himself
