Participants in a road race event about 90 miles south of the border were ambushed by gunmen who killed at least 10 of the drivers and wounded several others, the Baja California State Attorney General’s Office said.

Videos posted on social media showed heavy shooting at the rally in an area of Ensenada and at least three bodies lying on the ground.
