The service changes take effect on June 27, and some increases in Surrey will be permanent, says TransLink
Starting on June 27, increased transit service to destinations such as Stanley Park, White Pine Beach and Buntzen Lake will go into effect.: Every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekends, up from hourly service;More bus service will also be offered to popular summer spots including English Bay Beach, Queen Elizabeth Park, Vanier Park, Kitsilano Beach, Belcarra Regional Park, Deep Cove and Lions Bay.
Surrey is also getting increases to bus service as demand grows on several routes, and these are permanent, not seasonal. They include:: First trip starts 10 minutes earlier on Saturdays;TransLink adjusts bus schedules every three months to respond to ridership trends.
