“This meant that the operation was mostly posting when Americans were sleeping​,” the social media giant noted.​ Meta also said it disrupted a Russian-based campaign that spread false information about the war in Ukraine and targeted Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom as well as Ukraine.
