In an aging population, more women in their 40s and 50s are openly talking about their own experience with menopause on social media and elsewhere. Gen X women truly have had enough. We're a different generation who demand more & we're not afraid to stand up for ourselves. It was tough.
I have always considered myself healthy, at least from the outside. I’ll be honest for the first time when I hit perimenopause. I didn’t recognize my body anymore. As a certified personal trainer, I felt like a fraud because I didn’t know how to help myself, so how could I help other perimenopausal women through their struggles?
