Men of Action Brothers of Faith mission is to identify and cultivate the next generation of leaders.
Focusing on mentoring, education, and community improvement events. Mentoring is one of the most important activities that MOABOF carries out in support of their mission. Burgers for Boys is the event for young men and Grilling for Girls is the counterpart for young ladies. Youth between the ages of nine and nineteen are invited to participate in an interactive mentoring workshop and luncheon.
Carefully screened volunteers who are experts in various fields donate their time to speak to the youth about a variety of topics. The volunteer speakers at past events have included elected officials, lawyers, doctors, and community leaders selected by MOABOF leadership. The workshop is interactive in that the youth are encouraged to speak and talk about the issues and concerns that matter to them.
