Meghan Markle drove herself to Canada's Victoria International Airport, according to pictures obtained by a British tabloid.
The pictures mark one of the first times the Duchess has been spotted driving a vehicle since joining the royal family.
Snapshots of Meghan's newfound independence come on the heels of a bombshell announcement that she and Prince Harry will step back from their royal duties. "We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen," the couple said in an announcement on Jan 8. issued by Buckingham Palace."We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honor our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.
