The 16-year-old brings to life the often-misunderstood Izzy, who isn’t afraid to speak her mind or go against her mother’s orders. “It was a little terrifying at first. When we started doing these intense scenes where she and I were supposed to be yelling at each other, it kind of got easier, because outside of this she is so sweet, the nicest person ever,” Megan says. “It felt very comforting to know that she is a mother and she has dealt with rebellious teenagers before.”
