Sarah Feingold, a model and founder of NBGA (No Basic Girls Allowed) magazine, shares her at-home beauty secrets, including a game-changing eyeliner trick.

, a fashion magazine geared towards progressive individuals who feel underrepresented in mainstream media, the Moroccan-German beauty is a multi-hyphenate in the art of creation. “I really love both approaches to work," says Feingold of both producing and modeling for shoots. "I love creating concepts and getting hooked on ideas, but I also enjoy working in front of the camera as well.”

In addition to creating stories for NBGA and modeling for major campaigns, Feingold is known for stopping scrollers in their tracks with her directional eye makeup looks on Instagram. “I remember starting to experiment with makeup in seventh grade, when I was very inspired by J. Lo’s glowy makeup looks and dance moves—the whole '90s aesthetic had a major impact on my style,” explains Feingold.

These days in self-isolation, Feingold, who moved from Paris to New York City one day before travel restrictions between the U.S. and Europe were put in place, is finding solace in cooking, meditating, and getting creative with her beauty. For the latter, she believes her best looks come from "just experimenting," and she draws inspiration from her surroundings, including nature, paintings, and the colors and textures of food.
