Congress passed a $2 trillion stimulus bill last month but some lawmakers say another aid bill is needed.

Congress will need to “spend what it takes” to stave off a deep recession, but added that lawmakers should still be mindful of the debt.

“On the other hand, I think we are sensitive to the economic impacts of putting on debt, and that’s something that the president is reviewing with us very carefully,” he added.
