Jacksonville's new mayor takes office next month, and there are several events planned to mark the occasion.
Her swearing-in ceremony is set for Saturday, July 1 at 11:30 a.m. at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts on Water Street. This event is open to the public.Deegan’s camp plans to release ticketing information in the near future.
“I am thrilled to gather with friends, family, supporters and residents as we usher in a new day and celebrate my swearing-in as the next mayor of Jacksonville,” Mayor-Elect Donna Deegan said in a news release. “Together, we will unite our city and bring about positive change for good. With open doors at City Hall, we will ensure that every voice is heard as we create a Jacksonville that embraces and uplifts everyone.
