Among the $20 million worth of improvements the Mayfield School District has completed or is working on, is the realignment of the Mayfield High School entrance with Miner Road, across Wilson Mills Road. This work should be completed by October or November, allowing programs to possibly transition in winter, 2024. 5. “It will have been eight years since our last levy , so it will be eight years if we in calendar ‘24.” The earliest could be on the ballot would be in March, 2024, although Snyder emphasized that the school board has not made such a decision. As opposed to years past when students sat in rows facing a blackboard with a book on their desk, Snyder explained that today’s students sit in a variety of spaces and places and have with them a learning device that gives them access to far more information than students in past decades.
