Day one of the Beyond the Horizon Air Show saw thousands in attendance.

MONTGOMERY , Ala. - Ear plugs and lawn chairs were a common sight at Maxwell Air Force Base on Saturday, as thousands came out to witness performances from the latest state of the art military technology.“It’s just priceless,” explained Maxwell Air Force Base Command Chief Caleb Vaden. “The P-51 is my favorite aircraft, it’s what the Tuskegee Airmen flew in.
It was the first air show in close to a decade at the base, and the community showed up by the thousands. “It looks like thousands of people that have come out here,” said Vaden. “We’ll have those final tallies at the end, but yeah, it’s just a great event again for families to come and enjoy and get to be around military members.”
