The Find Marshal Iwaasa Facebook group has grown to over 16,000 members. Five years since his disappearance, his family continues the search with ongoing support. Lethbridge police have received half a dozen tips in the past year, none of which have been confirmed. On November 17, 2019, Marshal Iwaasa left Lethbridge and was last seen driving to Calgary. A few days later, his truck was found abandoned and burned in Pemberton, B.C.
