World number one Mark Allen says he wants to remain at the top of the World Snooker rankings for as long as possible.
Mark Allen says he wants to "stay as world number one as long as possible" after reaching the summit of the rankings on the completion of this year's World Championship in Sheffield in early May.
That tournament will be followed by the lucrative Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters from 30 August to 7 September."I know Judd Trump is not far behind me and if he wins titles then there won't be much I can do," Allen told the "This is a good time for me because I like a run of tournaments without gaps in between," explained Allen.
