Ahoy! If you are looking for great deals on marine or outdoor items, chances are that you might find them at the Maritime Museum of B.C.’s Massive Marine Garage Sale on Saturday, March 25.
This is the 19th year of the event, with proceeds from the sale supporting the maritime museum’s operations, as well as school and public programs. The sale, sponsored by the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority with support from CFB Esquimalt and Trotac Marine, is a treasure trove for anyone interested in boating, fishing and outdoor sports.
Coffee, hot chocolate and pastries will be available by donation. A 50/50 raffle will be held, with two draws. Admission is $5, with early birds charged $10. Children under 12 are free. The event runs 9 a.m. to noon in and around Pier A in the Breakwater District at Ogden Point, 185 Dallas Rd.
