However, through the ups and downs, one specific death betrays Scarlet Witch’s WandaVision growth and could eventually come back to haunt her.

She even goes as far as to push through the Anomaly’s barrier, permanently altering Monica's DNA, in an attempt to warn Wanda of Hayward’s agenda. When the Hex is eventually erased, Wanda finally acknowledges Monica’s attempts to help her and the two connect over losing loved ones.
