Houston: The third-seeded Cougars have been the best team in the American Athletic Conference this year, but that league still struggles to receive the same notoriety as other power conferences. Houston doesn’t have any problem scoring with a plethora of multidimensional guards, a deep bench, and big men who control the glass well.
Nevada: The Wolf Pack might slip under the radar based on their No. 7 seed and recent Mountain West losses to Utah State and San Diego State, but they’re nevertheless back for more March Madness damage after last year’s Sweet 16 finish.
