The Maple Leafs have secured the services of their biggest star for another four years.

The Leafs announced late Wednesday afternoon they re-signed forward Auston Matthews to a four-year contract extension. The average annual value of the contract is $13.25 million.Matthews has one year remaining on his current contract, which he signed on Feb. 5, 2019.
