The six-foot, 193-pound Hunt could provide some defensive responsibility and physical play on the Leafs’ fourth line, and while we’re not talking about a game-breaker, some potential grit won’t hurt.

Hunt also has played for the Florida Panthers and Arizona Coyotes following a five-year junior career in the Western Hockey League.
