Widespread electric outages were reported Tuesday afternoon asGusts above 60 mph were recorded on higher ridges and summits in the region, including 82 on Mount Umunhum and 81 on Mount Alison , both around 1:45 p.m. Other maximum gusts: 74 at the Oakland airport, 59 at the Palo Alto airport, 55 at the Hayward airport.
