Police in Renfrewshire are appealing for information to help trace a man missing since last night

Samuel Campbell was last seen around Johnstone Castle at around 6pm on Friday July 29.

The 27-year-old is described as being around 6ft in height and of thin build. He has long brown hair and speaks with an English accent. When last seen he was wearing a grey hooded jumper, blue jeans and was carrying a camouflaged camping bag. Sergeant Ross Laughlan of Police Scotland said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Samuel and are appealing for anyone with any information on his whereabouts, or who believes they have seen Samuel to get in touch.Top news stories today Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 4155 of July 29, or alternatively, information can be given anonymously to CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
