Toronto police said they were called about a shooting near the East Don Parkland Sunday morning.

A man walked into a hospital with life-threatening wounds after a shooting in North York on Sunday morning.

Toronto police said they were called at 6:40 a.m. that a man with gunshot wounds walked into a healthcare provider at Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue East, near North York General Hospital. Police said they are trying to find where and when the shooting occurred. They said they are investigating the incident.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call police at 416-808-3300, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477.
