A man was hit and killed by a vehicle while attempting to cross a North Side highway early Monday morning, according to Castle Hills police.
According to police, the man for an unknown reason was attempting to cross the highway when he was struck by a vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the driver of the vehicle did stop to render aid. There were no reports of any other injuries. The crash has since affected traffic and vehicles are being forced into one lane, the left-hand lane.
