One person is in hospital with serious injuries and another is in custody following a stabbing in Colwood on Thursday, according to West Shore RCMP.
On Feb. 2, around 5 p.m., officers were called to a report of a stabbing at a house in the 500-block of Windthrop Road, police said in a news release Friday. When Mounties arrived on scene, they found a 47-year-old man suffering from a single stab wound, while the alleged suspect, a 19-year-old man, was also on scene and arrested for aggravated assault.Paramedics transported the victim to hospital, where he is receiving care for serious, non-life-threatening injuries, said police. The suspect, meanwhile, remains in custody.Cpl. Nancy Saggar, media relations officer at West Shore RCMP, says police don’t believe the public is at risk.
