A murder investigation has been launched after a man was fatally stabbed in Blackpool in the early hours of this morning

Police were called at about 1am this morning to reports of an assault in Carshalton Road, Blackpool. It was reported a man had been attacked in the street suffering serious injuries.Emergency services attended the scene and the man was rushed to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, but later died. A murder investigation has now been launched. Four people are under arrest on suspicion of murder – two men aged 40 and 42 and two women aged 38 and 43.
