A man was stabbed in the ByWard Market in Ottawa on Tuesday night. The police are investigating the incident and the injuries are considered non-life threatening.

The Ottawa Police Service is investigating after a man was stabbed in the ByWard Market on Tuesday night. Ottawa police say officers responded to the 1-100 block of Rideau Street in response to a stabbing at approximately 9:30 p.m. Ottawa Paramedics say they responded to the intersection of Sussex Drive and York Street at around the same time and found a 27-year-old male with injuries to his lower body after an altercation with another individual.

Police say his injuries are considered non-life threatening.
