Police continue to search for the suspect, who fled the area on foot. Investigators believe the stabbing was random. Edmonton police are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed at a bus stop, near 38 Avenue and Millbourne Road, in southeast Edmonton on Thursday, April 13, 2023.The stabbing is the latest incident highlighted by police and politicians as they continue to grapple with concerns over crime and safety in the city.
During a news conference in Edmonton on addressing crime Thursday, federal Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre mentioned the stabbing and the shooting death of a man found in an apartment lobby in a list of recent crimes in Edmonton and Calgary.
