OAKLAND — A man was shot Tuesday afternoon in an East Oakland neighborhood, authorities said.
Shortly before 5 p.m., police responded to reports of ShotSpotter activity in the 1900 block of 82nd Avenue in the city’s Arroyo Viejo neighborhood. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the ear. Paramedics who also arrived at the scene provided treatment before taking him to a hospital. His condition was not immediately available Tuesday evening.For information leading to the arrest of a suspect, police are offering up to $5,000 in each injury shooting.
