One man was shot and killed near the CSU Northridge campus early Friday morning. LAPD is looking for the shooter.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released; police noted he did not live at the apartment building.
An investigation revealed the victim and the suspect became involved in a confrontation in the apartment, leading the suspect to arm himself with a handgun and shoot the victim before fleeing the scene on foot, police said.It is unknown if either man was a student at the university.
