Man seriously hurt in hit-and-run crash in College Area [Breaking]
A 42-year-old man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash after lying in a College Area street early Saturday, San Diego police said.
The man was walking south across El Cajon when, for unknown reasons, he lay down in one of the lanes, San Diego police Officer David O’Brien said. A vehicle headed east struck the man, and, initially, the driver stopped and helped the victim out of the road.The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that weren’t though to be life-threatening, according to police.
