NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A person of interest was in custody Saturday night after five people were found dead in a rural Tennessee county, authorities say.
The TBI named Michael Cummins, 25, as a person of interest in the killings. The agency said he was considered armed and dangerous.At a news conference Saturday night, TBI spokesman Josh DeVine said he could not provide any information about the victims, but urged residents in the area to be on alert.
DeVine emphasized the rural, wooded area surrounding the crime scene could make the search difficult."There would potentially plenty of places for to ... hide for the night," he said.
