A man was hospitalized Sunday afternoon and is in critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle in Fort Worth, police said.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a auto-pedestrian crash at the intersection of East Berry Street and Candace Court, in the southeastern portion of the city, according to police. A vehicle eastbound on East Berry Street struck a man walking across the roadway, police said. The driver of the vehicle drove away from the area without rendering aid, but was later taken into custody, according to police. No charges have been filed, police said.
The pedestrian, whose name authorities have not shared, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.Email Address
